What we welcome

• Corrections. If we got something wrong, tell us — we would rather fix it than defend it.
• Topic suggestions. If your committee is wrestling with something we have not covered, chances are a hundred other committees are too.
• Committee stories. What worked, what did not, and what you wish someone had told you before the congregational meeting. We may draw on themes anonymously; we never name congregations or people.

What we cannot do

We cannot provide legal, structural, engineering, or code advice, and we cannot recommend or endorse specific contractors, architects, or suppliers. For anything touching safety or the law, please talk to licensed professionals and your local authority having jurisdiction.

We aim to reply within a week or so. If your question is urgent because a building matter is unsafe, please contact your local building department or fire authority first.
